Explore the remote and breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh on this 08 Nights / 09 Days journey, featuring Leh, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Lake, Hanle and Tso Moriri. Experience Ladakh’s unique culture, ancient monasteries, dramatic mountain passes, and pristine high-altitude lakes.

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization to the high altitude of Ladakh. Leh is situated at a high elevation, so it is important to take things slowly, drink plenty of water, and avoid strenuous activities.
Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy your first views of the magnificent Himalayan landscape.

Day 2: Leh – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Leh.
Visit Shanti Stupa, offering spectacular panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Continue to Leh Palace, the historic former royal residence overlooking the town.
Later, visit Sankar Monastery and explore the colourful Leh Market, where you can browse local handicrafts, traditional products and souvenirs.
Return to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley, crossing the spectacular Khardung La.
Continue through the dramatic Himalayan landscape towards Nubra. On arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and the impressive Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Later, continue to Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels.
Enjoy some time exploring the beautiful surroundings before checking into your hotel/camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Turtuk Excursion – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive towards Turtuk, a fascinating village in the far north of the Nubra region.
The scenic drive takes you through the Shyok Valley, with spectacular mountains and traditional settlements along the way.
On arrival in Turtuk, explore the village and experience its distinctive Balti culture and traditional way of life. Walk through the narrow village lanes, see traditional houses and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery.
Later, begin the return journey to Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake
After breakfast, depart Nubra Valley and drive towards the spectacular Pangong Lake.
The route takes you through some of the most dramatic landscapes of Ladakh, with rugged mountains, high-altitude valleys and remote settlements.
Arrive at Pangong Tso, situated at approximately 4,350 metres above sea level. Enjoy the spectacular blue waters of the lake against the barren Himalayan mountains.
Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 6: Pangong Lake – Hanle
Wake up to magnificent views of Pangong Lake.
After breakfast, continue towards Hanle, travelling through the remote landscapes of eastern Ladakh.
The journey offers spectacular views of the high-altitude Changthang region. Depending on the permitted route and current road conditions, suitable scenic stops can be made along the way.
On arrival in Hanle, check in to your accommodation and relax.
Hanle is particularly known for its exceptionally clear night skies and its growing importance as an astro-tourism destination. Ladakh Tourism specifically promotes Hanle for its dark skies and stargazing experiences.
If conditions permit, enjoy an evening of stargazing.

Day 7: Hanle – Tso Moriri
After breakfast, continue your journey through the spectacular Changthang Plateau towards Tso Moriri.
Enjoy the remote landscapes, vast open plains, and dramatic Himalayan scenery.
On arrival at Tso Moriri, take time to admire the beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains.
Visit Korzok village and, subject to local access and timing, explore the area around the lake.
Tso Moriri is situated at approximately 4,522 metres and is known for its pristine landscape, migratory birds, and the nearby Korzok settlement and monastery.
Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spectacular sunset views.

Day 8: Tso Moriri – Leh
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back towards Leh.
Enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Changthang region as you make your way back towards the capital.
On arrival, check in at the hotel and stay overnight in Leh.

Day 9: Leh – Departure 

Today you will have a departure transfer from the hotel to Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport for your onward flight, depending on your flight schedule.

Your Majestic Ladakh Tour ends with wonderful memories of the dramatic Himalayan landscapes, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Lake, Hanle and Tso Moriri.
