Route: Mumbai – Elephanta Caves – Dharavi – Mumbai

Experience the vibrant character of Mumbai on this short 3-day journey, combining the city’s famous landmarks and colonial heritage with a visit to the ancient Elephanta Caves and an insightful exploration of Dharavi.

Day 01: Arrive in Mumbai & City Sightseeing

Arrive at Mumbai International Airport, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

After some time to freshen up, begin your Mumbai sightseeing tour.

Start with the iconic Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Continue to the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and explore the lively Colaba area.

Proceed towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), one of Mumbai’s finest examples of Victorian Gothic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue your sightseeing with a drive along Marine Drive, Mumbai’s famous seafront boulevard. You may also visit Dhobi Ghat, Mani Bhavan, and Hanging Gardens, depending on available time.

Later, return to the hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai – Elephanta Caves & Dharavi

After breakfast, proceed to the Gateway of India and board a ferry to Elephanta Island.

The journey across Mumbai Harbour offers beautiful views of the city’s waterfront and skyline.

On arrival, walk or take the small island train towards the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ancient rock-cut temples, sculptures and cave chambers, with the magnificent Trimurti sculpture being one of the highlights.

After visiting the caves, return by ferry to Mumbai.

In the afternoon, continue with a guided Dharavi tour, offering an opportunity to learn about the area’s small-scale industries, workshops and entrepreneurial communities. The experience provides an insight into an important part of Mumbai’s social and economic landscape.

Later, return to your hotel.

Day 03: Mumbai – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.

Depending on your flight departure time, you may have some free time for shopping or exploring the surrounding area.

Later, transfer to Mumbai International Airport for your onward flight.
