Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive – Delhi

Arrive in Delhi by your international flight, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Delhi, India’s capital, offers a fascinating combination of ancient monuments, Mughal heritage and modern urban life.

After check-in, the remainder of the day will be free to relax after your international journey. Depending on your arrival time, an optional short walk around the local area can be arranged.

Day 02: Delhi – Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.

Begin in Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of India’s most important historic mosques. Continue through the colourful streets of Chandni Chowk, where you may enjoy an optional short cycle-rickshaw ride through the busy lanes and traditional markets.

Later, visit Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

Continue towards New Delhi and drive past India Gate, the Presidential Palace and Parliament House. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, an impressive Mughal monument and an important precursor to the architecture of the Taj Mahal.

Later, visit the magnificent Qutub Minar complex before returning to your hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on traffic.

Upon arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel and have some time to relax.

Later, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in India. Explore its magnificent courtyards, palaces, audience halls and mosques while learning about the history of the Mughal emperors.

The evening will be free to relax or explore the surroundings of your hotel.

Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

Early this morning, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. Enjoy time exploring the gardens and admiring the extraordinary white marble architecture of this world-famous monument.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

Continue by road towards Jaipur, the colourful capital of Rajasthan.

En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Explore its palaces, courtyards and historic buildings before continuing towards Jaipur.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in to your hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur – Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City.

Begin with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, situated on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape. Explore its courtyards, palaces and beautifully decorated halls.

On the way back to the city, stop at Jal Mahal, the beautiful Water Palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, for photographs.

Continue with visits to the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the historic astronomical observatory. You will also see Hawa Mahal, the famous Palace of Winds, from outside.

Later, enjoy some free time in Jaipur’s colourful markets, known for textiles, jewellery, handicrafts and traditional Rajasthani products.

Day 06: Jaipur – Mumbai

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Mumbai.

Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Mumbai is India’s financial capital and one of the country’s most dynamic cities, combining colonial architecture, modern skyscrapers, colourful markets and a fascinating multicultural atmosphere.

The remainder of the day will be free to relax.

Note: Domestic flight from Jaipur to Mumbai is not included unless specifically mentioned in the final quotation.

Day 07: Mumbai – Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai.

Begin at the magnificent Gateway of India, Mumbai’s most recognisable landmark overlooking the Arabian Sea. Continue along the waterfront and visit the historic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel from the exterior.

Drive through South Mumbai to see some of the city’s impressive colonial-era buildings, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue towards Marine Drive, often known as the Queen’s Necklace because of its sweeping curve of lights along the coast.

Later, explore Dhobi Ghat, Mumbai’s famous open-air laundry, followed by a drive through some of the city’s historic and vibrant neighbourhoods.

Depending on your interests and available time, the sightseeing can also include Mani Bhavan, associated with Mahatma Gandhi, or the colourful Crawford Market area.

Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 08: Mumbai – Elephanta Caves Excursion

After breakfast, proceed to the Gateway of India and board the ferry to Elephanta Island, subject to weather and ferry operating conditions.

The journey across Mumbai Harbour offers wonderful views of the city’s waterfront.

Upon reaching Elephanta Island, walk or take the small island train towards the historic cave complex. Explore the magnificent rock-cut temples and sculptures, particularly the celebrated representations of Lord Shiva.

The Elephanta Caves are an important example of India’s ancient rock-cut architecture.

Return by ferry to Mumbai in the afternoon.

The remainder of the day will be free to relax, shop or explore the city independently.

Day 09: Mumbai – Leisure & Optional Experiences

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day in Mumbai.

You may spend the day exploring the city’s markets and shopping areas, visiting additional attractions or simply enjoying some free time at your hotel.

For travellers interested in Mumbai’s famous film industry, a Bollywood experience or studio tour can be arranged, subject to availability.

Alternatively, you may explore areas such as Colaba, Kala Ghoda and Fort, which are particularly interesting for architecture, cafés, galleries and local shopping.

Day 10: Mumbai – Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel.

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport for your onward journey.
