06 Nights / 07 Days

Day 01: Arrive in Leh – Acclimatization
Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport in Leh, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel/guesthouse.

The afternoon is reserved for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude. In the early evening, if you feel comfortable, explore the local markets of Leh and later enjoy spectacular sunset views from Shanti Stupa.

Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Leh.

Visit Likir Monastery, one of Ladakh’s historic monasteries, followed by Alchi Monastery, renowned for its beautiful ancient Buddhist artwork and traditional architecture.

Continue to Sangam Valley, the scenic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, and Magnetic Hill, known for its fascinating optical illusion.

Later, visit the Hall of Fame, a museum and war memorial established by the Indian Army.

Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 03: Leh – Pangong Lake
After breakfast, drive towards the spectacular Pangong Lake.

En route, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Ladakh, and Thiksey Monastery, famous for its impressive architecture and large Maitreya Buddha statue.

Continue towards Pangong Lake through the dramatic landscapes of the Chang La region.

On arrival, check in to your tent/homestay and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of the lake.

Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 04: Pangong Lake – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the Shyok Valley.

The route offers spectacular views of rugged mountains, river valleys, and remote Himalayan settlements. Continue towards Hunder, located in the Nubra Valley.

Later, enjoy an optional Bactrian camel ride through the sand dunes of Hunder’s cold desert.

Day 05: Nubra Valley – Turtuk Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a day excursion to Turtuk, a beautiful village in the far northern part of Nubra Valley.

Located along the Shyok River and surrounded by the dramatic Karakoram landscape, Turtuk is known for its distinctive Balti culture, traditional houses and peaceful village atmosphere.

Explore the village and its surroundings before returning to Nubra Valley.

Day 06: Nubra Valley – Leh via Khardung La
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Leh.

Visit Diskit Monastery, one of the most important and prominent monasteries in Nubra Valley, dramatically situated on a hill overlooking the valley.

Continue towards Khardung La, one of the famous high mountain passes of Ladakh, and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, subject to weather and road conditions.

Continue to Leh and check in to your hotel.

Day 07: Leh – Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport for your onward flight.
