Leh – Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake – Leh

Day 01: Arrive in Leh – Acclimatisation

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Leh is situated at a high altitude, so the day is reserved for rest and acclimatisation. Take time to relax and allow your body to adjust to the altitude.

Depending on your health and energy levels, you may take a gentle walk around the local market in the evening.

Day 02: Leh – Monastery & Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your introduction to Leh and its surrounding cultural attractions.

Visit Thiksey Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most impressive Buddhist monasteries, known for its hilltop location and traditional architecture.

Continue to Shey Palace, the former royal residence overlooking the Indus Valley.

Later, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Ladakh and an important centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Return to Leh and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley, crossing the spectacular mountain landscapes of the Ladakh Range.

The journey takes you towards Khardung La, one of the high mountain passes of the region, subject to road and weather conditions.

Continue into Nubra Valley, known for its dramatic mountains, green villages and unique high-altitude desert landscapes.

On arrival, check in to your accommodation.

Later, explore the surrounding village area at leisure.

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Hunder & Diskit – Pangong Lake

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, with its impressive Buddha statue overlooking the valley.

Continue to Hunder, famous for its sand dunes and the distinctive Bactrian double-humped camels.

Later, proceed towards Pangong Lake through the spectacular mountain landscapes of Ladakh.

On arrival at Pangong, check in to your camp or accommodation and enjoy the extraordinary scenery of the lake.

Day 05: Pangong Lake – Leh

Wake up to the magnificent views of Pangong Lake, one of Ladakh’s most spectacular natural attractions.

Enjoy some time by the lake for photography and relaxation.

Later, drive back towards Leh through the high mountain landscapes of Ladakh.

On arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 06: Leh – Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your onward flight.
