Day 01: Arrive in Leh – Acclimatization

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Leh is situated at a high altitude, so the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. Take time to relax and allow your body to adjust to the altitude.

If you feel comfortable in the evening, you may take a gentle walk around the local market.

Day 02: Leh – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your introduction to Leh and its surrounding cultural attractions.

Visit Thiksey Monastery, one of Ladakh’s most impressive Buddhist monasteries, known for its hilltop location and traditional architecture.

Continue to Shey Palace, the former royal residence of Ladakh, offering beautiful views across the Indus Valley.

Later, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the region.

Return to Leh and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 03: Leh – Pangong Lake

After breakfast, drive towards Pangong Lake, travelling through the spectacular mountain landscapes of eastern Ladakh.

The journey takes you across high mountain terrain and passes through dramatic valleys before reaching the famous lake.

On arrival, check in to your camp and enjoy the extraordinary scenery of Pangong Lake, renowned for its changing shades of blue and spectacular mountain backdrop.

Spend the evening at leisure by the lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Day 04: Pangong Lake – Hanle

Wake up to the spectacular scenery of Pangong Lake.

After breakfast, continue towards Hanle, travelling through some of the more remote landscapes of Ladakh.

Hanle is a small high-altitude settlement surrounded by vast mountains and open landscapes. The region is particularly renowned for its exceptionally clear night skies.

On arrival, check in to your accommodation and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Subject to local regulations, weather and operating conditions, you may have the opportunity to enjoy stargazing in the exceptionally clear Himalayan night sky.

Day 05: Hanle – Tso Moriri

After breakfast, continue your journey towards Tso Moriri, one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes of Ladakh.

Travel through remote mountain landscapes and vast open valleys before reaching the lake.

Tso Moriri is surrounded by rugged mountains and offers a peaceful and spectacular setting far away from the busier tourist routes.

On arrival, check in to your camp or accommodation and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 06: Tso Moriri – Explore the Lake – Local Villages

After breakfast, spend time exploring the beautiful surroundings of Tso Moriri.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the lake, surrounding mountains and remote Himalayan landscape.

Depending on local conditions, you may visit nearby villages and experience the traditional lifestyle of the Changpa communities of the region.

The remainder of the day is free for photography, relaxation and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Day 07: Tso Moriri – Leh

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh.

Travel through the spectacular high-altitude landscapes of Ladakh, with opportunities to stop at scenic viewpoints along the route, subject to road and weather conditions.

On arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 08: Leh – Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your onward flight.

Because this itinerary covers very remote, high-altitude areas, the route should remain subject to road conditions, weather, local regulations and permit requirements. Hanle and Tso Moriri can also have limited accommodation and services compared with Leh and Nubra Valley.

This tour is intentionally different from your other Ladakh products: Pangong + Hanle + Tso Moriri is the central theme rather than Nubra Valley.
