Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive – Srinagar

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

After check-in, take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Kashmir Valley.

Later in the afternoon, depending on your arrival time, begin your introduction to Srinagar with a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. These historic gardens are beautifully situated beside Dal Lake with the Himalayan mountains forming a spectacular backdrop.

In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Cruise through the tranquil waters while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains, houseboats, floating gardens and traditional life around the lake.

Return to your hotel after the Shikara ride.

Overnight: Srinagar

Day 02: Srinagar – Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar.

Begin with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, situated on a hill overlooking Srinagar and offering panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake. Temple access is subject to local security regulations and opening conditions.

Continue to the historic old city of Srinagar, where you can experience the city’s traditional architecture and local atmosphere.

Visit Jamia Masjid, one of the city’s most important historic mosques, followed by a visit to the area around the old markets.

Later, visit Hazratbal Shrine, beautifully situated on the northern shores of Dal Lake, followed by additional Mughal gardens depending on the available time.

You will also have an opportunity to explore local handicraft shops specialising in Kashmiri carpets, shawls, papier-mâché and traditional handicrafts.

Return to your hotel in the evening.

Overnight: Srinagar

Day 03: Srinagar – Gulmarg

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most beautiful mountain resorts.

The journey takes you through the scenic countryside of the Kashmir Valley, with opportunities to stop along the way for photographs.

Upon arrival in Gulmarg, check in to your hotel.

Later, enjoy some time exploring the famous Gulmarg meadow and its surrounding mountain scenery. During the summer months, the meadows are covered with green grass and wildflowers, while in winter the area becomes a popular snow destination.

If weather and operating conditions permit, you may take the Gulmarg Gondola towards the higher reaches of the mountain.

Return to the hotel after your sightseeing.

Day 04: Gulmarg – Full-Day Leisure & Mountain Experience

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day in Gulmarg.

You can spend the morning exploring the meadows and enjoying the magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains.

Depending on the season, a variety of optional activities can be arranged, including the Gulmarg Gondola, pony rides, nature walks, golf during the appropriate season, skiing and other snow activities during winter.

For travellers who prefer a quieter experience, the day can simply be spent enjoying the mountain scenery and relaxing at the hotel.

In the afternoon, return to your hotel and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Gulmarg.

Day 05: Gulmarg – Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Pahalgam, one of Kashmir’s most picturesque mountain destinations.

The journey takes you through the countryside of the Kashmir Valley. Depending on the season, you may pass through the saffron-growing region around Pampore and see traditional villages and agricultural landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in to your hotel.

Later, take a leisurely walk around the town and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Lidder River.

Pahalgam is surrounded by pine forests, green meadows and impressive mountain landscapes, making it an ideal place to relax after the journey.

Day 06: Pahalgam – Aru Valley, Betaab Valley & Chandanwari

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion around Pahalgam.

Visit Aru Valley, a beautiful mountain valley surrounded by forests and snow-covered peaks. Continue towards Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood film Betaab, which was filmed in this scenic area.

Later, continue towards Chandanwari, one of the starting points for the traditional Amarnath pilgrimage route. Enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery and fresh mountain air before returning towards Pahalgam.

Day 07: Pahalgam – Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Srinagar.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

The remainder of the day will be free for you to relax or explore Srinagar at your own pace.

You may also use this opportunity to do some shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts, including carpets, shawls, papier-mâché products and traditional souvenirs.

In the evening, enjoy some leisure time beside Dal Lake.

Day 08: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Houseboat

After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold” and famous for its spectacular mountain scenery.

The journey follows the Sindh River through beautiful mountain landscapes, with opportunities to stop for photographs along the way.

Upon arrival in Sonamarg, enjoy time exploring the area and taking in the surrounding snow-covered peaks and alpine scenery.

Optional activities such as pony rides or local excursions can be arranged depending on the season, weather and local conditions.

Later, drive back to Srinagar.

In the evening, transfer to your traditional Kashmiri houseboat on Dal Lake and check in.

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake and experience a traditional side of Kashmiri hospitality.

Day 09: Srinagar – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy some free time on the houseboat before checking out.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
